What’s a Token Gate?

Token gates are like paywalls that allow you to distribute exclusive content with your web3 community. But instead of paying with a credit card to gain access, you only have to connect your wallet and fulfill the access rules determined by the creator, like owning a certain token.

Token gates are unlocking a new universe of utility and use cases for NFTs and fungible tokens, but VAULT3’s spaces can do much more than that! They also control access to exclusive content for stake pool delegators and whitelists of wallets while offering customizable user journeys.

Each space has a unique ID and a fully brandable landing page with a wallet connection button (CIP-30). Users can simply access your space by clicking on your public link, and unlock the content by connecting a wallet that fulfills your rules.

Call-to-actions and user journeys

Creators can add customized messages and call-to-actions that will be seen by users interacting with their spaces. For example: if a user successfully unlocks the exclusive content of a space, the creator can take this opportunity to invite token holders to check out something she/he is launching soon. This will drive more traffic to the websites and even social media accounts.

Likewise, if the connected wallet doesn’t fulfill the access conditions, the creator can take this chance to tell the user what to do in order to gain access. This feature boosts conversions and sales.
